The application of creams with acids does not normally cause side effects, however, in some people, an allergic reaction may occur, leading to symptoms such as red or itchy skin and, in such cases, you should suspend its application and consult the dermatologist.
1. Cream with retinoic acid

- How to use: buy a cream with 0.01 to 0.1% retinoic acid and apply daily on the face, before bed.

3. Cream with glycolic acid

When using some of these acidic creams, you should not use any other type of exfoliating on the face, nor photosensitizing drugs, cosmetics that dry the skin, acne creams containing benzoyl peroxide, resorcinol, salicylic acid or sulfur.
