This remedy uses two types of diuretics, Hydrochlorothiazide and Spironolactone, which combine different mechanisms of action, increasing the elimination of fluid through the urine and allowing a reduction in blood pressure. In addition, Spironolactone helps to decrease potassium loss due to the diuretic effect.

How to take
It is generally recommended to take between ½ to 2 tablets a day, depending on the instructions given by the doctor and each patient’s response to treatment.
Some of the side effects of Aldazide may include vomiting, nausea, colic, diarrhea, abdominal pain, inflammation of the pancreas, weakness, fever, malaise, hives, yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes, dizziness or headache.
Aldazide is contraindicated for patients with impaired kidney function, absence of urine, Addison’s disease, high blood potassium levels, high blood calcium levels and for patients with an allergy or sensitivity to Hydrochlorothiazide, Spironolactone or any of the components of the formula.
