Some foods, such as shrimp, milk and eggs, can cause food intolerance in some people, so if you experience symptoms like a bloated belly, gas and poor digestion right after eating any of these foods, note if this happens every time ingest it and make an appointment with an allergist.
To find out if you don’t digest some of these foods, you can do a food exclusion test, stop eating the food you suspect for 7 days and then eat the food again to see if the symptoms reappear. Usually intolerance and food allergy is diagnosed in childhood, but adults can also develop this difficulty in digestion over time. In any case, the solution is to exclude the food from the diet and take an antihistamine if symptoms such as swollen mouth, for example.
List of foods that can cause food intolerance

There are also food additives, such as preservatives, flavorings, antioxidants and dyes, which are present in numerous industrialized foods, such as biscuits, crackers, frozen food and sausages, which can cause food intolerance. The most common are:

These letters and numbers can be seen on the labels and packaging of processed foods and if you suspect that you are allergic to some of these additives, it is best to avoid all processed foods and invest in natural foods, making a balanced and diversified diet.
When excluding a certain food from the diet, it is important to increase the consumption of another that has the same vitamins and minerals to guarantee the nutritional needs of your body. For example: Those who are intolerant to milk should increase their consumption of other calcium-rich foods such as broccoli, and those who are intolerant to beef should eat chicken to avoid anemia.
