Pumpkin Cream Chicken Recipe


  • 1/2 pumpkin pumpkin
  • 500 g diced chicken breast
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 liter of boiling water
  • 1 can of cream (optional)
  • Garlic, pepper, onion, salt, parsley and chives to taste
  • Sauté olive oil

Preparation mode:

Season the chicken using a little salt, lemon and aromatic herbs and vegetables such as garlic, onion, parsley, rosemary, chives and pepper. Let it rest for at least 1 hour for the chicken to absorb the flavor. Cut the pumpkin into large cubes and place in a pan, adding boiling water only until the pumpkin cubes are lightly covered, allowing to cook for about 5 to 10 minutes so that it is still firm. Beat the pumpkin while still hot with the water from your cooking in the blender or with the mixer.

In another pan, sauté the onion in oil and add the chicken cubes, allowing them to brown. Then add boiling water little by little, until the chicken is well cooked and soft. Add the beaten pumpkin cream and correct the salt and pepper to taste, letting it boil for about 5 to 10 minutes over low heat. If desired, add the cream to make the preparation more creamy.

It is possible to vary the vegetables used in this soup, always remembering to avoid the use of potatoes, manioc and yams, and you can also exchange the meat for chicken or fish.

  • 1 cups chopped green beans
  • 1 chopped tomatoes
  • 500g of lean ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 packet of green scent

Preparation method:
